Founded.....
Paul Laurence Dunbar High School Alumni Association was founded in 1978. The diligent and dedicated work of alumni keeps the Paul Laurence Dunbar Alumni Association a viable partner in the community of Dayton,Ohio. The Alumni Association is the inspiration of former teacher and principal, Mr. David Williams.
Objective.....
To establish a partnership and lend support morally, financially,and physically to the Paul Laurence Dunbar High School located in Dayton,Ohio.
To promote positive attitudes towards Paul Laurence Dunbar High School.
To gather the vast human resources together and help form alumni chapters wherever graduates or former students reside.
To maintain a historical database on Paul Laurence Dunbar High School,
and also, on Dayton, Ohio's native poet, Paul Laurence Dunbar.
